Nobody ever asks, ain’t it?
Sigh.
After the storm, comes the beautiful rainbow.
Thank You for bearing with every part of me.
Though I am tired, I know You are always with me :)
Thank you too, <3. You’re awesome, and thank you for bearing with me and listening to me.
It’s been an awesome 3 months :)
Thank You and you <3.
[25] At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; [26] yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. [27] All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. [28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
(Matthew 11:25-30 ESV)
When relationships blossom under His care and watch - what a glorious sight it will be!
Gotta endure the refining, to enjoy a glorious future with Him.
As Good Friday approaches….
“One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree.
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected,
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He.
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree,
And took the nails for me”
The only way to reach the vantage point is to keep climbing.
“It’s not rainbows and butterflies, but compromise that moves us along.”
We’ll pull through (:
What would truly matter in 50 years time?
God. And by His grace (or if He doesn’t return), you & I.
Simplicity.
Thank You for showing me Grace, ministering to me, and convicting me of my sin.
And you - for being the most wonderful girl.
This passage of Scripture, a sermon by Reeves, and Spurgeon’s sermon on this passage really ministered to me. Thank You for the timely and timeless Word - and more importantly for the beautiful Christ.
“And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.” (Revelation 5:5-6 ESV)
